Paying for Care

The cost of Private Residential Care can be a of huge concern for clients and their families. However here at Inwood House we feel we provide excellent value for money for the quality of care and environment provided.

Currently, Local authorities may be able to assist with funding following a "needs" assessment when an individual has capital or assets below £23,250. This figure is set by central government and could change.

Please contact us to discuss our current fee structure. We have a range of room sizes with different facilities and your care cost may also depend on the amount of care that you need.

Are there any other benefits I can claim?

You might be eligible for Attendance Allowance / Disabled Living Allowance (AA / DLA). These are both tax-free, non-means-tested weekly benefits. If you are paying for your own care, you are likely to be eligible for these benefits. If you are receiving funding from the local authority towards your care home costs, you will not be eligible for this benefit.
